As you note, Yale also interested in Alausa according to his "excited" comments on internet.
6'6" 190   U of Chicago  lab high school   I don't know who they even play around here    Y and P interest doesn't make him a player in my book.
Under 200 lbs...pass    NO more beanpoles (I considered Barlow a beanpole and he was listed at 6'8"  192)

I want sturdier guys like Malachi Alexander  6'7'' 217   solid muscle    from Holy Cross or that guy named Trist from Lafayette

We don't need the lumbering 6'8" big men that can't rebound nor defend. Give me a beanpole who can run the court and defend. We have so few of of these.

Muscala was a beanpole when he was recruited to Bucknell.   Would you have rejected him?    So was All-PL center Kevin Ferguson.   Wouldn't want him either?   Musters, otoh, outweighed Trist when he arrived at LC.    Would you prefer him over the two beanpoles?

I want Malachi Alexander-types but that's a "third rail" discussion.

The third PG offer signals to me that the Pards are becoming less confident in their ability to woo Kachelries who is their first choice but has eight other offers.

Yup, and now another PG offered per VC, Jeffrey Gary 6-3 Austin, TX.

Same with Iorio at PF.

Wow, slew of hoops offers by the Pards this week. Some have already been mentioned earlier.

2017 PF Chris Knight (6-7, 200)

2017 SF Tyree Eady (6-5, 190)

2017 SF Jameel Alausa (6-6, -)

A fifth point guard offer made today to RJ Cole 5-11 St. Anthony's  Per Pat Lawless @MADEHoops

Also Bucknell, BU, Penn....

Verbalcommits.com shows the offer dated tomorrow, maybe an article coming.

VC does not reflect the 2 2016 adds

No insider here, but sure looked like 13 on the '14 -'15 roster. Guessing 12 the year before.

Kachelries (13 offers, including Lafayette) says he intends to make his decision at the end of the summer.

“I’m keeping my options open right now,” said the 6-2 guard who plays for Emmaus. “I want to keep seeing places and hearing from schools. I’m looking maybe to end it around the end of the summer/beginning of the school year, after all these camps.”

Here's what worries me about David. I'm not sure if he took his SATs yet but I have heard rumors that if he scores high, he'll end up at a Ivy. If he doesn't reach that mark, Lafayette will be in the running. However if he doesn't score high enough for our admissions he will be rejected and he will go to Lehigh.

This is what pisses me off, admissions is prone to not giving a few students a break. I won't expect one every year but how about one every three years. Basketball only has 14/15 players. One player can mean a championship or two.  BRIAN EHLERS is an example.

So our admission standards are higher than the league...and That school?

SAT scores are due July 21. The next test is not until October.

He has already taken the SAT at least once - and very likely twice.

Except that one of our recently departed had an advertised 1040. Not claiming a lot of knowledge re the SAT, but hasn't there been at least one 60 point "recentering" in the not too distant past?  Putting him in the 900s in our day. Just saying, x, if you've heard griping about admissions, I don't doubt it.
