Passing worked. Therefore we had the usual delayed handoff for no gain. Five attempts, three yards. We are on our pace!
Time to punt!

Huge sack by Hinchen after Colgate's 60-yard or so pass.
It's all about the moments. Rarely the game and never the season.
Yards per catch : 3.7
Yards per carry : 0.6
Yardage: Colgate 130 Lafayette 29

10-0

This has the potential to be the worst FCS defeat of the season.

With breaks, it's only 10-0, the Pards could get back in, but even a disappointing Colgate squad is no Central Connecticut.

Now it's 16-0. Gate has 220 yards to Lafayette's 36.
Now 17-0.

Go Pards! Keep it within 40!

inability of OL to do its job week after week drags the whole team down

Typical Lafayette football game.  Everybody on defense is confused or out of position.  We don't understand the concept of contain, don't feel like tackling and can't cover anyone despite having 5 DB's on the field at all times.

Who's excited for next week?

It's hard to watch.  But guess what nothing will change for as long as Frsnk is here so we get to watch this again next year it seems!

For the last week or so I've had this feeling that I don't want to go to the telecast party(?) v. Lehigh That's a first. I would be surprised if I go. Is that wrong, doctor?

Melville has about 85 rushing yards. Lafayette has 11.

my son doesn't share much of this with me however a close friend and customer has now been a side judge in 2 of our games and his comments are similar to Tanks comments

We are getting close to "giving up" time. I think I saw a little of that at Bucknell but it's hard to tell as a fan.
24-0. Total yards, 301 to 74.
Drew is still firing. 24-6.

The offense has the same issues, but the defense was on the fiend when I commented.

If he is back, even with an heir apparent, fans must boycott.

That's the story of Lafayette football for the last two seasons. It should be the program's new tag line . . . .

Halftime chat.

John Leone: "Coach, seemed like the offense showed signs of life with that hurry up approach. Might we see more of that in the second half?"

Coach: "Well, we also need to keep the ball from Melville..."
