Another close loss last night to a FD team with a worse record than us. Hoping we can get over the hump and turn some of these into Ws. It would be nice to even up our PL record. Fran keeps saying we are a good shooting team, but, at 0.417 from the floor, we're dead last in the league.
Inexperience? Confidence?

Go Pards!

Add to that lack of a legitimate inside game which allows opponents to pressure our guards with impunity.

For a while now, we have lived and died by the 3 ball.  Not much difference this year except we have a less experienced team.  To be honest, we are one basket from tying or beating both Army and Lehigh.  This could easily go the other way the second time we play.  Of course we could have easily lost to Colgate and Navy will be tough in Annapolis.

My point is there is no dominant team in the league this year.  A few bounces, one bad call, one missed free throw can really change the outlook for the 2nd half.  We are not as far off as everyone thinks.  We knew this year would be tough replacing 5 out of our top 7.  This group plays hard every night and is fun to watch.    I wish we had more W's but that will come next year.

Love your attitude, but the world is never static and the rest of the league will improve as well. We need difference maker to separate ourselves from the rest. The only young guy that comes close to that is Willen. We need the inside game!!

The Dukies got housed by 27 last night so I guess I don't feel so bad. We're very young and I agree we've hung tough with these hard working guys. Deep breath, second half starts Sat. w/ HC at home.

Go Pards!
