"He sounded a bit like Eagles coach Andy Reid as he went through the litany of physical issues facing the Leopards this week: quarterback Rob Curley ( shoulder bruise), running back Maurice White (AC sprain in shoulder, compounded by flu), safety Eric McGovern, running back Jerome Rudolph and offensive tackle Anthony Buffolino (recovering from flu), Eric's brother Evan (sent home Saturday with the flu), linebacker Mark Schmidlein and wide receiver Greg Stripe (recovering from shoulder injuries) and running back Tyrell Coon (recovering from stomach virus)."

So White, Coon, and Rudolph are sick, and we have some other promient players with dings.  The dings will happen, but this flu thing scares me. Is it just me or do these things only happen to us?

Its not the Curse....is it?

We ought to get Morrow into an isolation chamber - or, if you believe in the special season approach is this Hebron's time?

Both McGoverns, with Simmons lurking is not good.  Do we see Joe Moore in place of Buffalino or is he done for year/career?

I believe Joe Moore can play if needed.  I dont think he is officially out, just not 100%.

Coon and McGovern were out last week I believe so perhaps they are pretty much recovered (hopefully).  It will hurt if Mo White and Rudpolh are unavailable or ineffective.

I am surprised the flu thing has not hit us before this. Other teams on campus have had it in the last three weeks. I understand there are about 130 cases reported on campus.
All the athletes were vacinated a week ago monday but it does take about two weeks for immunity to develop or if you get it about 5 days to get over it.

Take a breathe, it's only Wed, 3 days to game day. they're athletes in excellent physical condition, they should be able to bounce back if they follow doc orders, you know the drill, rest, fluids, etc. Maybe Colgate has the same issues, just not advertising it. Mostly every school has been impacted by the flu this year. think positive, we're gonna be OK...

Boy, that part time job I got in the Lafayette cafeteria with my dirty hands is working out pretty well.

Could be.  The gods work in devious and unpredictable ways.

And, it's The Curse, not the Curse.
