So far we are continuing on where we left off on Friday. 11 minutes left on the clock in the first half. I think we may have all of two rebounds. We have given up the ball twice on bad passes and our three point shooting is awful. Klinewski giving it his all as usual 13-8 Loyola.

..8 minutes Lafayette tries a little pressure 24-15 Loyola. Klinewski continues to impress but he is only one man!! Six turnovers for Lafayette!

6 minutes with a mini run by the Leopards 24-21 Loyola up three.

3 minutes to go Leopards up 29-25 Lidner hitting a three and Leopards excecuting the zone giving the greyhounds problems. 13-1 run for lafayette

Wow 39-29 Lafayette at the half, getting rebounds and fast breaking.

51 40 can

59 49 with 7 min left
we hold~

two steals Lafayette by two

big three by Nick
we go to the line with 5 seconds left 76-69 lafayette. Fran get his 300th
78 69 terrific win!!! Army next

Zone defense gets it done!!

I attended the game.  Excellent win for the Leopards, even if they made it more interesting than it needed to be (and the officials didn't help on one play in particular during the Loyola comeback attempt when they called a blocking foul on Lafayette on an "and 1" play that really should have been a charge call against the Greyhounds).  The key was the 18-1 run in the 1st half when the Leopards went from being down 9 points (15-24) to up 8 points (33-25); they never relinquished the lead after that run.

Lafayette has a very young team this season, but they showed the promise that they could be a factor in the Patriot League in a year or two with the way they fought back from their early deficit and generally played defense for most of the game against Loyola.  Good effort.

Missed the stream as the Rose bowl game wouldn't end!

Looks like we got some offensive help from Zalys and Stafford tonight. We need someone to score like this each time out to help Matt out.

Great to get the first PL win. Still, my New Year's wish for this team is a more robust D under the board and the ability hold up against the more physical teams we face.
