Last night's game between Villanova and UNC had it all, two teams battling to the last, diving for the ball, exciting athleticism and great coaching. You have to love the passion of both these teams.

It'll be interesting to see how it effects Villlanova applications and admissions. I know several faculty at Villanova ( one very senior) and they were excited. Great to see and hear!!

Agree.  Arguably the most exciting finish since NC State in 83, and just a well played game overall with a tremendous finish (including the off balance 3 to tie the game by UNC).

I guess this means Nova isn't joining the Patriot League any time soon  Laughing

1.  Second D1 national championship for a head coach who graduated from Bucknell.  Very Happy  . Wright played six games against LC in his career.

2.  If history is any guide, the effect will be short-lived and the temporary increase in apps will be largely from students who aren't admissible.  Will likely help selectivity for a year though.

The  highlight of the tourney for me was that the beat down of Oklahoma by the Villanovans was by a similar score as the beat down of Lafayette .
