Kudos to the players and coaches for this big win.  We beat West Virginia at West Virginia in their own tournament.  This is a great beginning to what hopes to be another big season.  Go Pards.

Ignored by College Soccer News, picked for fourth by PL coaches, this young team obviously wasn't listening. Great job!   Got home last night and "watched" the last four minutes on Gametracker then toasted our guys, only to find out could have watched game for free on WVU all-access.

Soccer News blurb on tomorrow's opponent Binghamton:

America East

The Team To Beat - From top to bottom Binghamton returns the most talent of any team in the America East.  Nine starters are back including junior forward Cameron Keith from the 2007 squad that was 14-6-0 overall.  Senior Barry Neville will anchor what looks to be a solid midfield and junior Jason Stenta returns in goal.  The biggest challenge facing Paul Marco will be replacing defender Adam Chavez.////

With wins over #15 WVU and #12 UMASS, great start for PL soccer!  GO PARDS!

I wish we Bucknell fans could be saying the same thing. Smile

Anyway congrats on a nice win.

I was wrong. We are now o-3-1 vs teams with winning records. Disappointing and does not bode well for PL play.  Is GK Nelson out all year? What's wrong with this team?

Another loss. This time at home to previously winless Cornell by a 2-1 score. The problem is simple, this team cannot score.

Eight games into the schedule, we have scored no goals in one game and one goal in six games. There is no margin for error if you are only going to score one goal.

We have some athetic and talented forwards based on what I saw today (Glenn, Maminski, and Celentano) so maybe its coaching?

League play starts Saturday night at Lehigh then at American. We should know after those two if we are contenders or pretenders.
