The Mountain Hawks completed a clean sweep over archrival Lafayette on Saturday in Rauch Field House, grabbing victories on both the men’s and women’s sides in indoor track and field. After rattling off a sweep in cross country in the fall, Lehigh extended its winning streak over the Leopards with a 101-80 win on the women’s side and a 96-85 win on the men’s side.
“It’s the rivalry,” Lehigh head coach Matt Utesch said. “It’s a great feeling and a huge accomplishment. It really makes a statement about who we are and the future of this team.” |
