Hebron is Dover's all-time leading rusher with more than 3,200 yards.
Dover coach Bill Miller said that Hebron (5-11, 180), one of the top 10 students in the senior class, attracted interest from Ivy League schools before settling on Lafayette.
"Lehigh and Lafayette were both pushing pretty hard at the end," Bill Miller said. "Lafayette liked his athletic ability and his potential. He still has some growing to do."
Miller said that Hebron, who moved to Atlanta last month, is among a group of outstanding running backs to have played for him.
