With all the excitement of our thrilling football season, everyone seems to have forgotten that our men's basketball team is opening their season against the defending national champions tomorrow night.  I'm not sure if this game will be very helpful in giving us any idea of what we should expect from the team this season.

6:30 PM on Fox Sports 2.

I haven't forgotten about it 2012! With so many Leopard cubs on this squad, I'm sure FOH will be playing lots of combinations. Anxious to see if any players emerge from the big freshman class.
Unless Jay's gotten some heart somewhere, we're definitely going down by 30 or 40 though.

For anyone who wants to watch tonight's Villanova game but doesn't have FoxSports2 the game is also on FoxSportsGo on ROKU AppleTV and possibly other streaming device outlets that carry the FoxSportsGo Ap.

23-2. Boys against men.
To be fair, to bend over backwards in the process, this game means nothing in some respects.
Yet I recall when we used to be competitive with the big guys now and then.
25-2.
This game is not a contest. It's becoming an embarrassment on national TV. What good can come of this?
21 possessions. Five points.
30-7.
Perhaps this can get better. Right now this game looks like a D1 versus D3 exhibition.
Airballs. Missed layups. General confusion.

Bigger. Faster. Stronger. Better.

At least the women are up 14 on LaSalle.

Yup lost by 40. I would have preferred to have been wrong in my prediction.

I expected to lose, just wish we would have been a little bit competitive. Lehigh and American made it a game. Not sure much can be learned from this. And yes, I watched the game.
