Anyone else received their football season tickets info in the mail. As with Lehigh, Lafayette is now giving an option to purchase 3 (particular) games (night games, patriot league, and monthly game packages) and a seat to the Lehigh game (while supplies last). It'll be interesting to see how this will effect (if any) full season ticket sales!

Arrived today. I received my season tickets (all 6 home games) in the mail a few weeks ago. (Kudos to Ms. Roe. She seems to have this part of the athletic department running about as well as I've ever seen it.) I assume that the missing Lehigh tickets will arrive (much) later.
Speaking of Lehigh tickets, the good folks in Kirby are making a lot of noise about "if available" when you inquire about additional seats. I understand that they have very little control over this one, but it is distressing to face the possibility of being shut out for the first time in a long...well, for the first time ever. I know that the Lehigh people were upset last year because their allotment was "only" 5,000. (That's around 38% of normal seating capacity!) If we get 5,000 for this year's game (close to 31% of capacity for those who are keeping score), I can't imagine what the problem might be. |
