10-5 start is best since 2003-4

Lafayette at 10-5 is off to its best start since the 2003-4 season.
The top scorer that year was Justin DeBerry, followed by Winston Davis, Sean Knitter, Mike Farrell and Rob Dill.
That team lost to Rutgers by six, then ran off eight wins. Victims included LaSalle, Drexel and Princeton before the men fell at USC, 81-59.
That team finished 18-10 and lost to Colgate in the first round of the league tournament.

That is a bad year to bring up. We were 16-4 at one point, even going 7-0 in the first half of league play before tanking, going 2-5 in the second half of the season, falling from first to third on the final day of the season and getting bounced by Colgate in round one in Upper Marlboro. Meanwhile Lehigh grabbed first and won the PL, "proudly" representing the PL by losing in the play-in game to Florida Abc whatever.

That's a year worth forgetting.

After a great start to the PL we limped home. A disappointing end to be sure.
