A new rumor

There was a rumor going around at last night's basketball game that Frank Tavani has hired someone to write his (Frank's) book.

Would not surprise me at all.

There is also a person(s) investigating writing a book on the Patriot League schools and their athletics and some of what goes on behind the scenes. I doubt it is one and the same.

That's a coffee spilling moment right there! Funny.  But, come on, 4 rings is 4 rings.  And you know what, if Frank spilled the beans on some of the shit he had to put up with, I'd buy a copy and some for friends. Russo's battles; ARot and Eve; weasel Weiss, scholarships and the budget cuts; taking it easy on Lehigh to save Coen's job; Bruce. Come on, when the publishing date?   Laughing

Do you think Frank will let me do the cover art? Rolling Eyes

Ha! No doubt, would be a great read. But I wonder how the book would work trying to gather  a larger audience. Sure we would all be interested in the Lafayette stories, but the idea behind a book would be to sell it and I don't think the memoirs of a somewhat successful, middle of the pack, small northeast liberal arts school football coach would be a big deal. How would you spin this story to have a larger audience? Or is Frank funding the writing without a publishing deal and he doesn't really care if he ever sells one as long as he can publicly flame all of his enemies once and for all?
Pards Rule

Would he include the part where Heffner talked Frank out of trying a 50+ FG and do a pass play instead resulting in The Hurt in 2005 Lehigh game??

Like it happened yesterday . . . most memorable play ever.

But yeah, I'd read Frank's book - unless it's a sour grapes tell-all of some sort.

It will be published by Marvel.
Spardicus80

I guess this is what is meant by "alternative facts". I get it now.
