American game

The game has slipped away. AU is too strong inside.

American 79-56. LC, 14-17.

I haven't seen Anna Ptasinski in the last couple (maybe more) of games.  Can't locate her on the bench either.

I think Gary mentioned she was injured. He mentioned what it was but I can't remember at the moment what he said.

As I suspected: women's hoops slaughtered vs. AU.

This has been a very disappointing season for this team.  Emily Homan deserved a better cast around her.

We have now gotten ourselves elevated to the middle of the pact. Careful, we may start contending! Rolling Eyes  Wink

I'm not sure we'll contend to be in the middle of the pack anytime soon. This may well be our ceiling!

While that game should get Diane Nolan fired at any other college in D1 in the Bizaro land of Lafayette Athletics it will probably get her a contract extension. It appeared that American never ran the cutter up the middle play before Friday because our players played like they didn't know it was coming- again and again and again. What's the old adage - keep doing something until "they" stop it ?Without Homan what does next year look like?  Hopefully a new coach who can make players better rather than worse over the course of their careers.
