Thank you, saw the story.  Nervous time of the year for sure.]

Yup, you know campus visits are happening but so far, at least for me all I see are kids committing elsewhere  Mad

I've lost track, has Gate announced yet?  This was in yesterday's Call:

Southern Lehigh’s record-setting quarterback Ty Edmond will continue his football career in the fall at Colgate University.

We have not announced yet.  admissions wants every piece of paper in before press release.

Saw article, does not appear Gate has announced yet as of today. nothing on cite or board

I still haven't figured out all the different standards used by each of our football members, but it certainly appears that Lafayette has given Coach T. a lot of leeway in announcing recruits up to now.  It's been my understanding that Coach T.'s signing day announcements always have been "subject to final approval by admissions" and that an announced recruit still might not show up in September if something goes awry with his grades, test scores or financial information.

Colgate, Georgetown and HC seem to approach it much more conservatively and won't announce until every prospect passes through admissions and the league's AI approval.

With the advent of scholarships, will this change?  Kids getting scholarships are "supposed" to be announced on national signing day, but is that mandatory?  Will some (or all) PL schools have to change the timing of their admission decisions in order to adhere to some sort of NCAA protocol regarding scholarship announcements?

announcements , even for schollies is discretionary with each school. Signing day only significant for ESPN. 1st day recruits can sign. No idea whether schools will change admission policies.

Bucknell, Colgate and Georgetown have yet to announce.  At this point it's almost anticlimactic.  What year are we talking about?  Is it this year's freshmen or next's?  Why not just wait until September and see what new names appear on the game program?  I'm booking summer rentals and have neither time for nor interest in any of this.

I suspect Colgate will adapt and announce on signing day.  At least I sure hope so.

Edmond did well at Southern Lehigh, but generated next to no recruiting interest.  In the end, his choice came down to 'gate or Holy Cross.  The raps against him are size (6'1", 191 seems OK to me, but the people who "know" think it's too small for a D-1 QB), and the level of competition (2A in the Lehigh Valley's Colonial League).  This is not a big time "get" for Biddle, but the kid has some potential and could work out just fine.
