Another loss to the Dark Side

Stefan Cvrkalj, from the Bluevale Collegiate Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, succumbs to the Forces of Evil:

Quote:
In the end, Cvrkalj’s decision came down to Lehigh and Lafayette, another Patriot League school located in Easton, Pa. He had also made an unofficial visit to Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., during the decision-making process. There, he learned a great deal about the Patriot League from St. David graduate Bryson Johnson, who plays for the Bucknell Bison and is one of the league’s top players.

Could it be because Lafayette no longer offers "Business?"

Quote:
“It’s a very competitive league. I want to become an impact player as soon as I can and after college, if I still want to play basketball, my goal is to play professionally. And I think I have a shot at the national team in the future,” said Cvrkalj, who will study business at Lehigh.

Or maybe it's because he always has the option of switching his major to Gym over at South Mountain Vo-Tech.  In any event, the recruiters must have gone on and on about all those Fountain Pigeons who have been drafted by the NBA in recent years.

Pehaps he likes the color brown?

Once upon a time men's basketball was perhaps the one sport where we could dominate the brown chickens.  Even those days are well behind us it appears.

Sigh! Sadly, I have to concur.

The only people that seem to pay after bad performance are the giving alumni and the tuition payers. Please can we have some good news soon...something..... anything!!!
