Athletic Department in downslope

As we know, football has won just 1 contest. But other teams aren't doing much better. Field Hockey has won only 2 of their last 8. Volleyball has won just 1 of their last 8. Women's soccer has won just 1 of their last 8.

For those of us who follow all sports, the recent play of nearly all the teams has been discouraging.

A win today would put FH into the PL playoffs.  I know ...baby steps.

Very disappointing loss to HC.  The program has really regressed IMHO.

Where us the accountability ??

The housecleaning should  start at the top.

It's a perfect day! In addition to the football debacle and the field hockey loss, Men's Soccer and Volleyball also bit the dust. Still waiting on reports of the swimming and diving competition......

Both men's and women's swimming and diving lost to both Drexel and Loyola, two scholarship teams (we have no scholarships, remember).  There were some good individual swims.

Spending $5 million to renovate the swimming pool is a waste of money. Sure it will be nice with natural light coming in through a new glass wall and with better seating. What should be done is build a new facility with more than six lanes. Good facilities are attractive to good swimmers.

Total waste of time and money with six lanes. I understand the Bruce was not part the discussions so any help for athletics was ignored. It seems it is viewed as a recreational addition.
