AU Iggles

The last win over AU was the 2015 PL championship game. Lets hope Lindner can reproduce the same result tonight!
NewXbo

I'm assuming we won since none of our regular posters haven't posted anything.
Kpard

We are out of last place. Nick and Matt did their usual thing, but, Zalys stepped up. Got a few nice steals and helped on the offensive end. FOH has his rotations down now. Decent crowd for mid week.

Possible 10 win season. possible home play in/off game.

Sunday at home against the brown ones should be fun.

Coach O. always has his teams playing their best basketball by this time of the season... just a matter of what "best" actually means this year.
Kpard

Yes, playing its best ball is only good enough to get us out of last place. Lewisburg could be very ugly. But, we'll enjoy this one.

Was a good win - one they should have won and they did.
Andy

We did the right thing and killed our last possession standing around without taking a shot, giving them the ball with 5 secs remaining. Their kid pulls a low class move and drives against no one to the hoop for a layup, making final 78-65.

Point differential:

AU 71 - LC 57 = 14
LC 78 - AU 65 = 13

Isn't point diifferential one of the tie breakers? Wouldn't that be something?

Can't find it online right now, but I think that would only come into play if we had the exact W-L results against every other PL team. It would be ridiculous though, if that cheap bucket was the difference, which is why most leagues (in all sports) try to bury the "differential" tiebreakers as much as possible. Just above a coin flip.

(Now I'm curious, so if anybody happens to find the PL tiebreaking stuff, please link. I know I've seen it before.)

TIEBREAKER PROCEDURE

a. In the case of a two]way tie between teams in the final standings for regular]season League play, the following process will be used until all ties are broken and the seeding process is completed (ties will be broken in rank order beginning with the highest seed):

i. Head]to]head competition ] the higher seed will go to the team that has won the most League contests played against the other team involved in the tie.

ii. If a tie still exists, a comparison of records will be made between the tied institutions starting at the highest possible seed and continuing through the lowest seed, if necessary.

iii. Sport]specific tie]breaking procedure, if any (see Sport]Specific regulations).

iv. Comparison of records versus out]of]League common opponents.

v. Coin flip.

b. In the case of a multiple]team tie (more than two teams tied for the same spot), the following process will be used. Note: The entire process for multiple]team ties must be completed. The Patriot League does not revert back to the two]way tie formula once the multiple]team tie has been resolved.

i. Records between the tied teams will be evaluated to determine if one team won more contests against the other tied institutions.

ii. If a tie still exists, a comparison of records will be conducted for each team starting with the highest seed not involved in the tie and continuing through the lowest seed, as needed.

iii. Sport]specific tie]breaking procedure, if any (see Sport]Specific regulations).

iv. Comparison of records versus out]of]League common opponents.

v. Coin flip (two teams) or draw (multiple teams). Below is the sport]specific tie]breaking procedure, if applicable

i. In the event of a two]way or multiple]team tie, refer to the Patriot League tie]breaking procedure listed in Section XV. [June 2002]

ii. If a tie still exists, the League office will use the RPI according to the Collegiate Basketball News (CBN) published on the day (or the next day that a report is available) following the final regular season League game to determine the higher]seeded team. (Note: If a game must be postponed
for any reason, the first CBN RPI calculated following the conclusion of that game will be used.) The team with the higher RPI will receive the higher seed and the opportunity to host the tournament final (should the team advance to the championship game) [May 2013]

So, non-issue. Thanks guys.  Good win!  Get that home game!

Can someone tell me where the streams of the  games are archived? With my meager computer skills I have not been able to locate the archives.Last year they were archived under home game videos but I haven't been able to locate that file this season.Thanks.

You can go to https://campusinsiders.com/network/patriot-league-network/

Then choose the date the game was played from the schedule, pick the game you want and then click on "Watch again"

Point differential is never used as a tiebreaker.

Yankeefan - Thank you. The only 2 games I missed were both wins.

It's a good feeling when fellow fans miss one's contributions. Touching, really.

The Battle for Eighth Place is on! This is drama by current standards.
One stays home, and another one rides the bus.

Army:
At No. 3 Navy
Versus No. 2 Boston
At No. 4 Lehigh

Lafayette:
Versus No. 4 Lehigh
At No. 1 Bucknell
At Colgate, T6

American:
Versus Holy Cross, T6
At No. 3 Navy
At No. 4 Lehigh

Everybody in the league is still playing for something, though American appears primed for the Basement. They've earned it.
A game in Lewisburg is always a tough draw. On the other hand Army could lose all three and a win at Colgate could keep Lafayette at home, right?
Also Lehigh has shown its ability to lose anywhere to anybody.
I can't figure it all out but that would be a clean ending. Toppling the mighty Raiders on their own frozen tundra before 58 fans.

Right now I'm betting on the 'Pards. Is all forgiven?
Let the curtain fall, to slow music ...

IDK? It takes me some time to drive home from a game at KSC and I don't always feel like posting immediately, if at all?
I thought you were all in, so, you'd already know the outcome?
