Brogan resigns from Crestwood job

Like any other HS coach, some liked him and some didn't.

if you read the account of Brogan's departure it notes that he was supported by a girl player named Kendra. That is a big sports name in the Valley. One Kendra was an NFL player and another was involved in a recruiting kerffufel between Penn State and either Florida or Florida State. I believe he decommitted from Penn State to go south or possibly the other way around. If she is from that family they know their sports.

Not sure if they are related, but the Kendra's are LV football royalty.

The old man played QB for Bobby Bowden at West Virginia, and has been a coach in the area for many years.  His son was a highly sought after QB recruit way back in the mid -90s, I believe he featured in SI and all that.  I believe Dan Kendra was briefly committed to Penn State, but did end up playing for Florida State.  He eventually turned into a 260 lb fullback at FSU.

Both played at Allentown Central Catholic HS.

I'm guessing that the fate of nations is not hanging on this correction, but Dan Sr. (actually the 2nd) played his high school ball at Allentown Central Catholic, but Dan Jr. (actually the 3rd) played at Bethlehem Catholic.  The decision to send the son to Bethlehem instead of Allentown was probably due to BECA coach Bob Stem who was a legend at the time.
