Cleveland Browns and Blake CostanzoThe past few days the NFL has been investigating the story of a rookie RB being injured in a post practice drill:

Reading Peter King's article this morning, Blake Costanzo was the LB who injured the rookie.

will have to follow how this story develops.

Heard about this story but had no idea it was Blake involved. To quote one of the sports radio personalities up here in New England. "Is Mangini on some sort of coaching suicide mission"?

Re: Cleveland Browns and Blake Costanzo
Hopefully the situation didnt occur like this or Blake may be getting cut shortly. Mangini does seem to intentionally be sabatoging the Browns--perhaps it is payback for firing his mentor Billichek all those years ago.

Mangini and Belichek are mortal enemies. Mangini ratted out Bill for "cheating" aka Spygate. Doubt very highly Mangini is doing anything on his behalf. I'd be happy to see the Mangini era come to an end in the NFL. That being saidd I think it is Mangini that is Blake's biggest fan. It was he who had Blake on the Jets roster and now the Browns. I can't see Blake getting blamed for this if he was taking part in some sort of drill sanctioned by the coaches.

I doubt Blake did anything dirty or outside the scope of the drill. I found it intersting he was the player involved. Plus Peter King's article mentions that neither player was wearing pads whereas the initial story mentioned that the defender was wearing shoulder pads.
I think this is a refleciton of Mangini rather than Blake.
