Cornell

We beat NJIT at home, Colgate lost to NJIT by 6 away, Colgate beat Cornell (0-3) in Ithaca by 4.  That's all I've got.  Heading back down to get our first look at the Leopard cubs in person. Let's Go!

Cornell is a dreadful team. This isn't pretty so far. Another comeback is needed.

I really like this froshman class. Once they can start contributing more, we should be fine. Klinewski has really stepped up his offensive game and Lindner is Lindner. Stout, Janecek, and especially Cherry are nice players. I also really like the Evans kid. He busts his behind every second he is on the court. I just wish he had some more offensive success.
Regard this afternoon, a team that is shooting 23% from the 3 pt line lit it up on us today. Otherwise we win this one.
Boykins was nowhere to be found and Dunkum sits in the stands behind the team. Does anyone know his status? Does it even matter?

Monty had an arm in a sling last game. Didnt see him today but his dad was there.  Dunkum had the surgery last winter, then new injury in summer workouts, I believe. As to "does it even matter?" you may be on to something....anyway a scholarship player, I hope he eventually is a contributor.

With our former Asst Coach Donovan W on their bench, I guess Cornell had us well scouted. Wink They were quick on the perimeter and denied us our 3 point game for the most part. While their kid, #3 (from Easton per the program) was unconscious, maybe the best shooting day I've ever seen in Kirby.

Right on on your comments kpard, Some good young players. Cherry's move under the basket late in the game was particularly encouraging as has been the shooting of Stout and Hunter J.  Matt really playing well, Zalys in a funk right now. Nick the ultimate competitor.
