FH takes 3 weekly awards

Blass defender of the week
Madagan Offensive Player of the week
Colbourne rookie of the week

Spoils to the victors….well deserved!!
Bogus Megapardus

As is should be.  No sense in anybody second-guessing any of these well-deserved awards.  The only reason Jessica Deutsch didn't get Goalie of the Week as well is because her defense barely let anything past them.

This team has a bunch of momentum to start the OOC slate.  GO PARDS!

Next :  at Monmouth (1-1) . . . at Rutgers (2-1) . . . then the home opener vs. Liberty (1-1). Rutgers is the principal challenge (wins over Bucknell and Sacred heart; loss to Princeton) but all three are winnable for the Pards.

Bucknell beat Monmouth 3-1

Princeton was a scrimmage for Rutgers, so their official record  is 2-0. They will have to play a tough Temple team on friday who beat number 10 UMASS.
Temple has a very good goalie ( sister to our Hannah Millen, she has a save percentage in the 80 pct range I believe). We play Temple later this year.

Rutgers is beatable we lost to them last year on a fluke call (own goal which under today's rules would be disallowed).

Good info from Lafalum - especially for those of us who do not read the Express-Times every day!

A very strong showing vs. Rutgers is crucial (IMHO) going into games vs. #8 Penn State and vs. "league mate" Metropolitan College.  I'd even call it a must win game.  #3 UConn - it is what it is.

For all the complaining we do around here, it was a fairly successful weekend.  Disappointed about the mens soccer Rutgers loss though.

Totally agree. Hopefully, with football opening we continue on in all our sports. Go Pards
