Field Hockey adds coach to replace Amy Tran

Olympian Amy Tran is returning to full time training with the US team and Andrew has hired former Maryland star Emily Trycinski. Emily scored the winning goal at the national championship game in 05. She will join former all american Jen Stone. There will be another addition (volunteer asst) joining who will handle conditioning.
Andrew continues to book clinics and tournaments at the school. Last year's summer camp was over booked and he has added a second camp this year. He understands the need for generating revenue to compensate for budget cuts!!
He has signed 5 recruits with the posibility of one more before the official signing day. He is now screening recruits for the 2010 incoming class.

When you say "signed", does that mean they are all getting FH scholarships?   Or partials - since I believe FH scholarships can be split?

In total, how many scholarships does FH get?

Thanks.

The answer to your question is the actual signing is in Feb, committed is a better term. And they are all getting scholarships. FH is allowed to spend the equivilent of 8 full scholarships ( two per year) on athletic scholarships which can be combined with need based aid to get us to the NCAA 13. You are correct in FH they can be partials.
