Fordham In Game

Don't see an in game thread.  So I am starting one.  Looking great so far.
jonnymo

minus the blocked field goal just now.
jonnymo

why is Wadsworth playing special teams?
bethlehempard

Weird 1Q. Long. Disappointing but we can get open.
Franks Tanks

We can't do anything on offense.  This is about to get real ugly real fast I'm afraid.

Frank's 2 comments heading to locker room:

"We stink... that's disgusting."

I think he's being a little harsh. Take away the 2 blocked FGs, and this would be a 14-13 game. It's a lot closer than the score.

Drew has not been at his best, either in decisions or execution. And we can't contain their All-American. But besides that, a few costly penalties and a few blown calls...

Ah hell, it's 21-7. We need a quick score coming out of the locker room.
Franks Tanks

Yes, but those gigantic errors did occur.  Frank is right, it is embarrassing that a DI football team cannot execute a FG without it being blocked.  We also had one blocked in the 1st game of the year.

Might help if interior line would block on field goal attempts. Same guy could have blocked those kicks his knees. Staudle is out and it shows. Miss him. Poor operation time as well

Yes. Done nothing since then. Maybe we can get some individual moments and plays out of the next 20 minutes. First-half stats were even until the late Fordham drive.

I think Frank is going to implode Yikes
The Maroon

I just started watching - has Fordham been playing like thugs the whole time or are the 2 personal fouls I walked in on just a coincidence?

These guys are just better than the rest of the league. Morehead has done a great job. Never thought that LC had a shot. Not sure anyone else does either.
bethlehempard

LC will be 1-4 with Harvard and the rest of the league left.
The one victim so far, Wagner, lost to Robert Morris 9-6 in a five FG game.
This game can't end fast enough.
Fordham is better in every facet of the game.
On to Georgetown.
Newleopardfan2

Can't think of a positive. Well, unless I missed some late injuries, I think we're still relatively healthy. And when you've got your health...
NewXbo

Maybe we should play all our games on the road since we have scored just 7 points in each home game.

Well we didn't break double digits against Delaware either.  I do not recall a stretch when we failed to reach double digits in 4 out of 5 games.  I know the competition is stout, but wow.  I don't think I can watch the Harvard game.  Let me know when it's over.
bethlehempard

1995: four losses with single-digit scores including a shutout (Hofstra). Also a 10-10 tie with Columbia. 4-6-1, 3-2.
All five games in one stretch.
There were three single-digit totals in the 1994 title season. Also in 1996-97-98, three single-digit games each year, all losses.
Pard4Life

We kind of had the first score gift wrapped but HEY we were at the three and failed to score. So, I guess we can count the first TD as legit. Otherwise, almost another near shutout.

We are not even competitive with the better teams on the schedule. Next spring we will hear "Lafayette had the toughest OOC and all teams combined for 5 losses." Whatever.

Harvard is going to be very, very ugly, like 2011 bad. They are just obliterating teams.
