Just a Reminder

We need defensive front 7 kids who can contribute immediately and some depth at RB.  Beyond that, I guess a 4-7 team has needs just about everywhere.  Bear that in mind when you are high fiving the cocker spaniel on Wednesday.

Any updates on Mputu?  Is he still in school?  Has he gotten his act together?  Will he finally grow up and become reliable?

Don't worry; I'm not high-fiving the cockapoo because she will think it's time for a treat, and there may not be a treat worthy accomplishment on Wednesday.

DL is priority número uno.  And we haven't seen many DL names here.  We don't have Ben Eaton to play DL this year.

Uncommitted DL names on our rivals list:

Tucker - DT offered by just about all PL,  single tweet indicates will walk on for Terps.

Ajoku - legit rush DE, we had 2 kids from GA 2 weeks ago, IDK if he was one.  Took another unknown official visit this past weekend per social media.  2 days we will find out.

Oberst - rivals listed as a DE, looks like a DT to me. No word on status that I can find.

Padgett - committed elsewhere per scoutingOH, although not yet indicated as such on rivals.

I guess our current pass rush possibilities come down to smallish Ty White, who looked like a player this year on ST,  and Coscia.

Good question for Coach T. during the live chat session.

I think the question should be "Is football a priority for Patrick?"  If so, he could be an all league player for us.

The tweet I mentioned was in fact credible.  Rivals.com:

Walkersville DL leaves I-AA offers on the table, takes walk-on route

Walkersville defensive tackle Ty Tucker, a two-star recruit, has multiple academic scholarships on the table from Patriot League schools like Georgetown, Lehigh, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Bucknell and Lehigh. But instead of taking one of those Division I-AA offers, the 6-foot-3, 270-pound Tucker has decided to walk on at the University of Maryland.
