I believe Kristin Foley is a member of the red headed foley athletic family from Cherry hill which included two stand out QB's at least one of whom played at Boston College and the New York Jets and possibly other NFL teams.I will look further into it.

Although she has red hair I can't find a family connection. One Foley was head coach at Fordham. One was a QB at Maryland and BU and one played QB for BC. One of that group was also HC at Valley Forge.I can't find any connection to Kristy.Sorry -just a quick guess based on dim memory of her coaching days in Philly and her playing days.

It doesn't really matter who she's related to, but can she recruit and coach.

As a three year head coach at Drexel, she was (1992-93) 5-22, (1993-94) 8-19, and (1994-95) 13-15. Not that good but showed improvement.

In five years at Temple, (not know for great women basketball, except for Dawn Staley, 151-67), she was: 7-21 (95-96),  10-18 (96-97), 10-17 (97-98 ), 8-19 (98-99), and 10-18 (99-00).

It's still going to come down to can we recruit better players than we have over the last 20 or so years. Its been more than 15 years since we have had a winning league record.

Says it all.  We have the Patriot League's best proven talent in the coach's room.  Can they now put some talent in maroon and white uniforms?
