Lafayette 67, Rider 62

No comments on the only bright spot in a "just shoot me" weekend?

I'll comment.   I think a 5-point win is a good win since Rider is a middle-of-the-pack MAAC team, not a bottom-feeder.    Based on last year's Sagarin ratings, the game would have been pick-em after adjusting for the LC home court advantage.

Can't get remotely excited until we start winning some games in the league. Haven't seen the box score from Providence but the one against Rider makes me worry a bit.

A win is a win.  The team shot 45% from two point land - not bad.

Homan won the game with a layoup at the end.  I'm sure the ride back from Providence is a happy one, even the I95 part.

Yeah but we've done this every season since Diane took over. Right now we're 6-31 from behind the arc. Lets keep watching and revisit in a few weeks.
