Audio is back. Three and out for Pards. Not a great start. Looks like we are trying to attack the flanks. Columbia is all over it in the first series.

Lafayette responds with a nice drive. 7-7. Demorrow up the middle looks like the path to the Promised Land so far. Nice big catch by Stripe too.

Defense just looks anemic. Loose needs to make some serious adjustments and we need to do a better job of putting pressure on the damn QB. This one is teetering on the brink of getting away from us.

The O is playing well, but our D is making the Columbia O look like the NE Patriots. I knew Columbia was an improved team but they only scored 3 against us last year--WTF is going on?

But still-- how could they get THAT much better in ine year. 3 points last year all game--21 in pretty much the 1st qtr this year--ugh

Looks like we're playing Tavani Ball now...and it's working well. Hopefully we can parlay this into more diversity in the play calling later on.

This game is reminding me of the Yale game in reverse. The Lions are starting to dominate the line on Defense on pass plays. We need to stop throwing the ball out to the flat. It's not there. The most effective thing thus far is tailback up the gut. Our defense needs to get 1000% better in the 2nd half. Here's hoping this is just a typical bad half for Lafayette. Many adjustments need to be made.

He're an adjustment they can make at the half...going forward the d-backs should try to actually cover the receivers. I think that could work out well.

It's going to take some effort to pull this one out...I'm not betting on it.

IF we start playing some D we can pull this out - the dbacks keep playing soft and we get no pressure - go home early.

Oh we can pull it out but we need to have a 180 degree turnaround. The only reason I am slightly optimistic is Lafayette often looks like a different team from half to half. This will be a test of coaching. I think we have the horses to comeback but the coaches need to figure something out to put these guys in places to succeed.

Wow...just wow. My heart can't take these kind of games. We totally escaped. As I said about Colgate...good teams need to be able to dodge bullets. That was one hell of a Columbia team. Let's take the ugly win and move on to Harvard. PHEW!!! Anyone making the trip to Cambridge?

Amazing.....Curley with 3 ints but when he had to produce he was superman out there
I have been following LC football for over 40 yrs and have become conditioned to having them breaking my heart time after time...i.e. my pessimism at halftime.....
These guys are special....and the coaching staff to be congratulated for turning things around.
