Lehigh Valley Chapter Football Forum

Fellow Travelers : Please register early to attend the annual Lehigh Valley Football Forum which is scheduled for August 2 on campus.Last year due to insufficient registrations the event was cancelled. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet with the coaches over a "picnic type " meal and review film of the incoming freshmen. Some of the freshmen attend on occasion as do their parents . The best part is a Q&A with the head coach. The event was previously very successful until the school started to "advertise"  and solicit attendance.I think in memorial to "Bruiser " Flint we should all attend and come prepared with at least 5 questions. Therefore please register and attend to keep this unique event alive. You will have this great chance to sit with a coach and discuss to your full satisfaction any topic concerning the football program that may pique your curiosity.Fan favorite Bruce McCutheon has  also attended and taken questions.

I've been told that the Lehigh Valley Alumni group is no longer sponsoring this event. They believe the Friends of Football are now sponsoring it and it will be held on either August 20 or 27.

Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley in conjunction with our Maroon Club Friends of Lafayette Football present the 2016 Annual Football Forum. On Saturday, August 20th, come join our Leopard faithful to observe and learn everything you want to know about the upcoming 2016 Leopard Football season. This event provides an up close and personal opportunity to be on the field with the team and to hear first hand from coaches and players what to look forward to this season.
The forum will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Fisher Field where we will observe practice and a live scrimmage with officials. Coffee, tea, water and donuts will be provided. At 11:45, we will move inside Bourger Varsity Football House for a video of our first class Division I football complex followed by presentations by Coach Tavani, his staff, select players and the athletic department. This is a great opportunity to learn about our team, training camp, new rules and regulations, future of the Patriot League, NCAA compliance issues, etc. This will be followed by a tour of the Bourger Varsity Football House. Beverages will be provided inside as well. Our licensed Lafayette Leopard apparel vendor, Scott Connolly from Go-Logo Solutions, will be available for those who want to purchase Lafayette Football sports gear. This is a rain or shine event and will not be cancelled except in the event of lightning.

Thanks for the info guys.  I give to FoF every year, but don't get any emails. Wow, they've really ramped up this event. Good job!

FYI, the email was just a 'blast' from the "Office of Alumni Relations", not FoF.  Maybe it's geographically targeted.  I am in Bucks Co. PA, about an hour south of Easton.

The same info is posted on the Go Leopards site under the football team's section as part of the FOF news post (sorry I don't know the computer lingo to more accurately describe where to find it.).
