Lehigh

Yes there was a game. Lehigh 69-60. There was a late run but who gives a damn it's one more loss among 25 and there's no point in looking for silver linings.
Lafayette's last winning season, 15-13 in 1997-98. The team was mired in single-digit win totals for a decade, breaking through in 2007-08 with a 14-16 mark.
I can't claim to understand what Grentz is doing, but based on our history, I can't object to her demolition project.

This is how hard the sports information department has to work to find something positive to say. It's not easy!

Women's basketball shoots 62 percent in the fourth quarter
The Maroon

I'm still loving our "season low in turnovers" in a 30-point loss.. Although the paragraph praising the strategic genius of shutting down Princetons leading scorer in the 62-27 drubbing is my favorite this year.

Well, it did "work to perfection."

When Grentz was hired there was an implication Bruce had to pay her significantly more than budgeted to sign her.  Does anyone know how much over the budget she has been paid?  How much per win so far? Is this team the worst in the nation?  Are there valid reasons she was out of coaching for a decade?  Did this set off any alarms for the hiring committee?
