Liberty headed your way

First off, congrats for taking care of business down in the Nation's Capital.  It is always great to get that first one out of the way.

As a Liberty fan, I've obviously had this meeting circled on my calendar for a long time.  I can't wait to get another shot at LC after last year's painful showdown in Lynchburg.

For the record, I am probably more happy that Andy Romans is gone than you guys are about Rashad Jennings being gone from our lineup.

Looking forward to finding a way to watch the game.  As far as you know, it is only a webcast at this point.  Correct?

All Lafayette games are on RCN cable, but you must live in Eastern PA/ Western NJ to get it... otherwise its the web.

Get a couple of your buds and borrow a car.  Early weather forecast says that it will be a great day in eastern PA.

I live in Houston so driving is not exactly a viable option.  All our home games a televised nationally so I can kick back and watch in HD from my sofa.  Now it looks like I'll be hoping for a web feed of some kind.

Man, I wish I could be there.  I love playing schools like yours with all of the tradition attached to it.  Since we've not even been around 40 years the contrast is even more pronounced than most of your opponents.

Maybe Carney can pick you up.

Never thought much about it - just kind of accepted that's the way it's supposed to be, I guess - but most of the programs we play go back into the 19th century, even if we haven't been playing them that long.  As far as our first meetings go, only Harvard (1966), Holy Cross (1986), and Liberty (2008) don't go back to the turn of the 20th century or before.  It shocks me every year when I see the number, but next week we will be playing Pennsylvania for the 86th time.
