Loyola Game

Looks like we're playing in front a wild crowd of dozens...

ELECTRIC atmosphere.

We HAVE to get this one done - but I'm nervous...
The Maroon

'Pards up 7-0.

Hounds look absolutely inept
The Maroon

My God - has there ever been a shutout?

I guess my pessimism was misplaced?
The Maroon

Absolutely HORRIBLE call on Homan and she sits with two.

Leopards gotta grind now...
The Maroon

Loyola has completely contrrolled the game since the first media timeout and now leads 13-11.

I'm worried about Homan sitting.
The Maroon

Well Diane's rolling the dice - Homan's back in.
The Maroon

Oh MY GOD....

HORRIBLE decision to put her back in.

We gotta grind.
The Maroon

My God this is awful basketball.

We're up to seven turnovers. But we're winning.
The Maroon

Up by 7 with Homan on the bench.

I will die if we blow this one - we're a hell of a lot better.
SIDELINER

That 50-foot buzzer-beater by Loyola was a killer.

Never in doubt? Anyway, the beat goes on.
Friday at Bender.

Hey, Maroon, enjoyed the conversation you had with yourself.  The guys with the white coats and nets are coming for you, but until then, ...

Good win with Homan only kicking in as a factor late.  Lutz started the season as if she'd taken some maturity pills and is ending it as if they've really kicked in.  Who knew she is a threat from long distance.  Player of the Game and deserved it.  If she has any of those pills left over, maybe she can pass them on to Ottewill-Soulsby for next year.  Harriet is never going to be an inside banger, but if she can achieve her A game, the two of them could be an OK in the paint presence.

On to DC for what many see as a drubbing.  The kids are talking as if they plan to take it up a notch, so we'll see.  I'm a bit surprised that LSN will be there.

I think its more about RCN servicing D.C. (as it does Boston) than LSN being there.
Pard Promise

Actually, I heard it has nothing to do with RCN servicing D.C. and EVERYTHING to do with LSN being there.
