LU/AU Title game and a staggering number

Lehigh 24-American 22 with 74 seconds left in half one. Good game. CBS Sports Network.
A graphic popped up, Lehigh's coach is 318-271 over her 20 years.
To the record book: we are a staggering 170-409 over that same time. About 8.5-20.5 average.
We lost more games from 1998-99 through 2005-06 than she has in her career. That includes the 100 losses in four years starting in 2001-02.
I knew it was bad but ... WOW!
The seven-wins-in-three-years stretch ... Well amazing.
Nolan is 58-93.
Our last truly meaningful game was played probably before some of our recruits were born. That LC/LU final.

Final: AU 66-50.

No surprise here.  American was the best team throughout the season, 24 wins.

There was an LC/LU final in 2009 -you may be forgetting. We had Garner, Purr, VVDV et al...Lehigh had a 1 point lead with less than 4 minutes to go before pulling away. Team finished 10-22 overall and had a 2-12 regular season PL record but damn near pulled off a tourney for the ages. So we did have a meaningful game not that long ago.

I have no desire to summon she-who-shall-not-be named - but she had some completely non-scholarship teams that weren't much worse than what we've got right now.  Ten wins looks to be a goal for next  year. Aren't we supposed to be further along than this?

I have no desire to release the Kracken either. It's not as if much was happening before or after those years anyway.
Why not have a few M/W BB doubleheaders for weekend games?
When I see other tournament finals played before an ocean of empty seats I can't make a case for bringing back the one-site playoff,  but why not a few double games?
The game tonight was only tight at the half because of an AU drought. Oh well... Go Eagles!

***Right I did forget ... Purr was a terrific player. Always doing the right thing.
