Maroon club Executive Director

Has anyone heard if there has been any progress in finding a replacement for Joe Giamo

I heard this a long time ago but Joe Samaritano's name was mentioned. I believe he had this position previously. I have also heard that Jaime Hughes has returned.  Not sure what his position is. I doubt either one can match Joe Giamo's success.

Hughes has been in major gifts for over a year. I like Joe, I didn't think Jaime was particularly effective. In any case, it would be a step backward especially if they didn't give up their present gig. We need a full time fund raiser for athletics.
By the way, Giamo has hit the ground running at Rutgers and has already made a great impression. This is a guy that could be an AD someday.

So, still no one?  This seems like a pretty big hole with the excitement and anticipation of Fall sports beginning.

Are we looking for a new AD?

I'm sure we have one in mind.  Perhaps a D-III compliance specialist who will keep the status quo in place.

Jamie Hughes would be  a step backwards over a cliff.I speak from unhappy personal experience from dealings with him when he was in the Alumni Office in the position of dealing with my chapter of which I was president at the time.
