Bohn went into a rage in the first half and got ejected. He was WELL over on Lehigh's side of the field and it was an odd scene. Would love to know the full story.
We played a solid game and got a couple of breaks. Lehigh had one bounce off the post and our second goal appeared to be a screw up as the ref blew his whistle after the free kick was in play but I don't think the better team lost. Very impressed with freshman defender Christian Moyse.
Hopefully we can find a way to string a few more wind together - it's hard to believe our poor record prior to tonight.

A pleasant surprise from Oaks Stadium.  Good going, guys.  Agree with the Maroon: what's with Bohn's tantrum?  Frustration, perhaps.
Lafalum

Noticed the that too from Bohn. Frustration does seem rampant in the Athletic Dept these past few years. Love the win though!!

Second time he has been tossed this year - suspect there is some frustration with lack of scoring.  He has a temper and getting tossed rarely helps.

He looked ridiculous - the game wasn't even at an intense level yet and all of a sudden he's on LEHIGH's side of the coaches sideline screaming like a complete loon. Next thing you know we have our entire bench making its way over and potential disaster on hand. Luckily cooler heads prevailed.

This isn't time to dump on Bohn - he's been one of our better coaches over time and I'm sure his intensity is a reason. But he has to realize that's unacceptable. Lehigh was fouling a bit during that juncture - but I didn't see anything egregious.

As a full-fledged soccer Dad/Coach I haven't had much time to see games but I must say I was impressed with the skill level on both sides of the field - it was great soccer. I can't understand our poor scoring output this season. I guess Bohn can't either.

I have watched a lot of soccer as the father of two accomplished soccer players albeit not college players. The one game I watched on PLN was disappointing . I can't remember the opposition. Lafayette strongly resembled a high school team.  I was really surprised by the low level of play particularly because one of our players was a local stand out who was a really good player on a New Jersey prep state champion.Hopefully it was just one bad game.

He is a great defensive coach - offense, not so much, and its generally been the case throughout his time at LC.   Finding his alter ego in the assistant ranks, and then hanging on to them, is not an easy task.

Your experience trumps mine - but you must be seeing some GREAT high school games. Our roster has a lot of Academy and ODP players (don't get me started on how screwed up US Soccer is) and I thought the footskills and overall speed was amazing. Passing could have been better - but plenty of nice combo plays. It was nice to give my aspiring star some "here's what it's supposed to look like" pointers.

Bohns studs are certainly on defense - like I said I was very high on the frosh. Don't know if it's a recruiting thing or overall emphasis.

Bohn's tantrum is going to cost him two games, I believe.  Since it is his second red card of the season.

Rule 12.12.1 "A player(s), coach or bench personnel ejected from a game cannot participate in the next regularly scheduled game, including postseason games, or, if the offense occurs in the final game of the season, in the first scheduled game of the next season. A player(s), coach or bench personnel
receiving a second red card in the same season shall not compete in the next two regularly scheduled games, including postseason games."

That can't please Bruce. He's got a very young staff.

But I like Bohn's fire.  We could use more of that.
