NCAA Tournament

Nice showing by the PL on the first weekend.  Loyola took care of business against Duke and Navy pulled off an impressive upset at Yale.

To me, this is a bit of double-edged sword.  The results speak well for the quality of PL lacrosse, as does Navy's getting an at-large bid in the first place.  On the other hand, this also goes to show what Lafayette is up against in trying to make progress within the conference.

I think this is great for PL . It is possible now to have a PL national  championship.

This is good for Lafayette. Obviously, for us in the near future, it makes the climb even tougher. But as long as we think we belong in the Patriot League, we should be cheering for the league's ultimate success in all sports... one particular institution excluded.

It was a great game and a lot of fun to watch.

Loyola in the Final Four . . . and Navy came awfully close to upsetting Brown.

All in all, a very good showing by the PL . . . regardless of what happens next weekend.

Heading to Philly for the finals this weekend.  Go Greyhounds!

The Hounds are my No. 2 choice, behind Maryland (PL loyalty be damned).

Fear the Turtle!

NESCAC's Tufts vs. perennial powerhouse Salisbury in the DIII game.  It will be a good one, with many players who coulda been in DI.

Lacrosse is something of a tradition in my family and my uncle played for Tufts.  So . . . GO JUMBOS!!!!
