Rumor is there is a 5'8" PG from Georgia who is coming out as a walk-on. Supposedly she can handle, has a good first step and slashes. Since BB players don't come in early, we probably won't know anything for sure until the student body returns and the pickup games begin.

Thanks, X. "Walk on" accurate but possibly misleading. Some said she is supposedly as good as our recruited players, just had trouble finding a situation to her liking. Sounds encouraging, we shall see along with the rest of the freshmen.

Whew....It's been a while...I'm like Harry Potter spending his Summer at the Dursleys...
OK...as a follower of Tammy's blog, she had a post today but didn't mention anyone from Georgia in welcoming this years freshman class. Obviously that doesn't mean that we don't have a phenom guard on campus....but pardon my cynicism.
I'm predicting a horrid year for this program. Then again...it's been a rough Summer.

A walkon would probably not appear on the roster until after they made the team. However, its not going to matter. As I understand it she received a vary late full scholarship offer from another school and accepted. Ill try to find out where she went so we can track her career to see if she would have been a differece maker.
As far as this season, in spite of losing five seniors, I'm expecting a better PL regular season at least. I think the change in the offense at the end of the season was a positive and hope we do not revert back to it. I am however still trying to figure out why Jackson didn't get more minutes earlier in the season.
