Danton Ponzol, Senior OL, Palisades – Palisades is usually one of the contenders in the Colonial League “AA” landscape. Ponzol is a potential Division-1 prospect for the Kintersville-based school. He checks in at 6’4, 254 pounds, and runs a 5.5 in the 40-yard dash, according to Rivals.com. He’s generated interest from Louisville and Miami (OH).

The college already has linked profiles up for each of the incoming recruits.  Very high class job to have this ready on signing day.  I'm not going to worry for a second about the ones who "got away."  Congratulations to the new guys who are here.

Yes, congrats to the new Pards and thanks to the staff for their hard and productive work which made this recruiting season a lot of fun for fans.  We can look forward to these kids keeping LC football at a championship level.

A great sign IMO of the across the board quality of the class is that it's difficult to pick the best position group.  Nice looking WRs (cant tell u how many times I checked the Miami papers for confirmation of Juin's commitment), height at the CB, terrific size and physicality at safety, TE and FB voids filled VERY well, RBs, the Jet, on and on.  Big QB! ( video not uploaded yet, apparently)

Initially I looked at the list and my heart sunk--NO TRANSFERS, NO YOCUM!  Then Gary said they were separate.  That's a hell of a trio.

Glover (yes!), Coleman confirmed.  Let's see Coach Clayton turn this 6-6 290 pounder into an all-league player. I'm a very happy Pard fan.

Great class congratulations ,large , some good skill kids and lots of size. Tavani hit a bunch of real solid kids. Tough break on Dzurko.

Rich, how did a class act like yourself make it to the dark side?  Anyway, yes, it was a bit of a roller-coaster ride of emotions today.   Nice group forming to the west, I'll be reading your posts.

Tremendous Class!

Some BIG O-linemen

Two high quality RB's (the kid from Florida seems very good, and the kid from PA a real sleeper with a lot of skill)

Some very promising WR's and a couple of huge TE's (The big TE from Ohio can be a real weapon)

A Big QB from a 6A Florida High School

Lots of quality LB's and DB's and some nice d-line guys.

Well rounded and talented--very excited.

Since Hamilton is not a media center it may be awhile until we release, but I am confident we have some great kids.  Go 'Gate!

Looks like a top quality class. It even seesm to have the QB Carney was hoping for. I am really impressed by the size of these kids. Not just the lineman. The skill players seem to be much bigger than we are accustomed to. Should be an exciting bunch. I wonder which names will become fixtures over the next couple of years?

Not so much.  Read the "Let's Party" post in the Football section.  Reminds me of a line from a vintage rock song:

"He's tall.  That's all."
