NIce win for the women

First three wins in a row ag PL opponents since 1998. As Dianne said most of our players were in Kindergarten and first grade at the time. First win ag American since early in the decade as well.

Nice!  Wish we had stayed with the plan to head to Easton.  "Watching" on Gametracker not for the faint of heart.  Whew!

What a difference a week makes! AU is a good team and we didn't back down. I've  been critical of Coach Nolans substitution patterns in the past but she has been a virtuoso two of the last three games.

Echoing Maroon, American is a good team.  I was impressed with them - fast, quick (not the same thing), up tempo, and constant all court pressure.  Forced the Pards to play at a tempo they're not used to.  That makes this win all the more remarkable.  More and more impressed with O'Hare.  Way too many rookie mistakes, but the up side is unlimited.  Also, Nolan is getting better mileage than I expected out of using Homan and Fiacco as interchangeable pieces, rather than twin towers.  Relying on more knowledgeable opinions on this, but each seems to have upped their game knowing that their inside help is not available.

Good job ladies. Way to defend the home court!

Beating AU in basketball always seems to be a challenge for LC.  Glad to see a win by the women today.  Homan had a very good game - if she continues to improve, it will be a good thing.  PL teams will be keying on her big time down the stretch.
