Pard Nine in Fla

Excellent starting pitching in our first three games:

18.1 innings: 13 hits, 3 ER, 4 BB, 12 SO.  Fantastic!  Includes starts by a soph and a freshman.

The bats have been somewhat quiet so coach has been exoerimenting with the lineup. Froio moved to leadoff, Luick down to 3 spot.

Butler (.350 hitter last year, BL) has been struggling and I notice he did not appear against a pair of Harvard righties. Have to assume an injury.

Butler's replacement at 3B, Justin Shepherd, had 3 RBIs on two extra base hits in the twin bill.

Crimson first game starter was 6'8", 250 pound BBall player.

Ezekiel first player not named Ambrosole to go yard. First of many for Joe, I hope.  (I'm wondering if the four starts before season ending injury last season will qualify him for a red-shirt and, if so, if he'd take it?)

GO PARDS!
