Grills are fine, and you can arrive pretty much whenever you want.  March field is good spot to tail gate, and parking should be no problem if you arrive early.  There is parking in a lot next to March field, that is almost always open if you arrive early, and provides some good space.  If March is full you have the Sullivan parking deck at the end of Campus, which isn't great for tail gating.  For well attended games like homecoming and Lehigh, they allow you to park and set-up on the grass between dorms, like "Easton Quad".

If you are struggling with finding a place to set-up ask one of the old guys in a yellow jacket and they will tell you where to go, and where they are allowing parking. Believe it or not really anything goes at Lafayette when it comes to game day tail gating so long as your group is no being extremely loud or obnoxious.

I'm not a tailgater and Tanks is the man, but just wanted to post this from the website:

•If you are a ticket holder WITHOUT a parking pass, please do not attempt to park at the Markle Parking Deck, Hamilton Street or Pierce Street areas that are restricted near campus. Your options are:
◦Authorized street parking on College Hill or downtown Easton
◦Snyder (Third Street) lot
◦Sullivan Lane parking deck
◦March Field (when available without pass)

You could probably set-up an noon without issue.  The March lot is not big, and it just regular visitor parking for the college, so you can park there at anytime.  If you get to campus around 3 I would guess that you should easily fins a spot.

You got it.  As I said if you get stuck, ask one of the "security" guys who are directing traffic.  In the past they've always been helpful in directing us where to park for set-up.

When I was a student I worked as a "security guy" parking cars at Markle deck.  We regularly took bribes, just so you know . . .  Rolling Eyes
