Philadelphia Inquirer Takes Notice

Nice article in today's Inquirer singing the praises of Coach O'Hanlon.

This article is validated by the Navy game. Once again officials are taking the easy way out by "letting them play".  Basketball is not football, it is a game of movement. The officials allow way to much obstruction and grabbing. If you are a defender and you put your hand on the offense player, it should be a foul. Who wants to watch a 50-48 game?  It's worse than watching paint dry. I'll take a 90-88 game every day. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Disagree! Too many whistles make for a dull game. Who wants to see the flow of the game constantly stopped for insignificant fouls that don't affect the play?

If refs started calling the game more closely, teams would learn to adapt.  After a few games with excessive whistles, everything would open up.

Agree with that.

Nice article about FOH's approach to the game and recruiting. The object is to score more than your apponent. A lot of coaches limit possessions by eating clock when they have the ball = BORING!

Some of our opponents do recruit the kind of athletes the article says we can't get. They find a way.
