PL Tournament First Round

@ Navy tonight. I still think this team could make a run. Aren't as bad as the record indicates. Just need a couple good shooting nights.

No run. One and done. Bryce went out in style. Lindner and Rufer played but hobbling. Thanks for some very exciting games guys. At least these Seniors leave with a PL championship from last year.
Heard an interview with FOH last week we have a wing - Stout from Parkland , a 4 from Australia and he is looking for a point guard in this incoming class.

Thank you seniors.  Seems like yesterday we were watching Zach up in Glens Falls.  Champions and great kids.

Unless something has changed, he has more than that.   The four from Australia is Myles Cherry, who is committed but not yet signed.  He currently attends Choate.   In addition to Stout, SG Hunter Janacek signed in the fall, and another SG, Cal Reichwein, committed as a walk-on.   Point guard looks like a major need for the last scholarship.

i attended the game tonight, and it was nice to see the Leopards never give up when Navy got up double-digits a few times in the 2nd half but frustrating to never see Lafayette pull closer than 5 points in the half.  I don't think Navy ever led by more than 12 points at any point.

You know what you'll get with a Fran O'Hanlon Leopards team over the last decade - fairly good outside shooting and reliant on the 3-pointer, limited rebounding, and mediocre defense more often than not.  Hopefully Lafayette can improve in those latter two areas in 2016-2017.

But he already has offers out to two 2017 PGs. I'm not expecting one in this class.  I'd bet we're done for this year and will give 3 next year for 12 total.

In the RCN interview Fran says we're gonna need a point, a 4 and a wing - working on that over the next year. And he mentions local kids, (Emmaus point Kachelries). 2017 not this class.
