Rob Curley the Offensive PL POW!!!

Well deserved. Congratualtions to Rob and the Leopards.
carney2

Putting Rob Curley's season in perspective:

Thru Saturday's Bucknell game he has passed for 2,059 yards.  That is an average of 257.4 per game.  If he hits his average for the next 3 games he will have 2,830 for the 11 game regular season.  The all-time Lafayette record for a season is 2,725 (Marko Glavic, 2003).

And opposing coaches continue to organize their defenses with the "we'll let Curley beat us if he can" philosophy.  As a group these guys are apparently not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Congrats to the kid and his o-line, a job well done....

Not to bring up a sore subject, but Carney, close your eyes and imagine if Frank didn't pull a bonehead move last yr benching him after the Colgate game. (aka QB controversary) how much better would he and this offense be?

And we'd be going for two PL championships in a row.

And we wouldn't have lost to the freakin' ChickenSquawks.

Bonehead!!!!!

But we won't go there.

Amen to that, but it would have been 3 in a row if he played him earlier in his soph yr.  the kid & the team are winners in spite of Frank some of his stupid decisions..  Ok I feel better now...thanks

Frank has done a tremendous job with this program, and has made a lot of very good decisions.  For the life of me I cannot understand whyCurley didnt come back as soon as he was cleared last year--unbelievable

I know that I grabbed the bait after leo chummed the waters, but let's let it go and concentrate on what may be a magical season.  Frank was just being Frank.  We can count on him doing something incredibly stupid each year.  It is however gnawing at me that this year he has not yet taken his annual Saturday vacation in the land of nod.  Now would be a heluva bad time.

Let's just asssume his not punting the ball on 4th and 3 against Colgate was his mulligan for the year and he's gotten away with it.

Fordham, and yes moving forward let's all tie our reins to the buckboard pulling LC toward another "Championship" game victory this week!

Go LEOPARDS, beat Colgate!!

Was anyone a fly on the wall to hear what the discussion was about between the head coaches after the Bucknell game?

Yep, we have not seen one of those sneaky "Frank" plays yet this year. Here's to hoping we catch someone with their pants down when he decides it's time for one!

GO PARDS!

it looked like there was something going on between Tavani and a BU player late in the 4th and more snipping occurred in the hand shake line. My guess is Tavani was addressing behavior issues.
