SFC Game

The team eked out a win over the Terriers who had all of two wins.  Given that this was a home game and Fiacco and Homan had a good night, you would think it wouldn't be so close.  It shows again that the Coach has not found the right combination in the back court.  With tough games coming up in the Fordham Tournament, the time is getting short to figure it out.

The real question is: has this team improved?  Certainly not when you look a the record.

The first part of game we were blowing them out......conditioning issue??

Good point.

Still can't shoot.  Take away the in close stuff from Danielle and Homan and the rest was 8 for 36.   50% from the line.  Macklin, arguably our most athletic,  0-11 from the field.

Well we had a better TO/A ratio, looks like Homan has her shooting touch back, Ohare had a decent game, but we still need a couple of players who can make shots consistantly. We do not set many high screens, not that I'm sure it would matter.

X, why no Loughney?

Commit, Ashley Lutz, will help -  jr season shot 83 percent from the free throw line, 45 percent from the field, and 35 percent from three-point range.

Didn't watch, but it looks like St. Francis has a normally decent shooter who went off. LC just had 12 days off and SFC didn't, so I choose to take the W at face value and move on.

And one of SFC's two wins came at Army, for whatever that's worth to you.
