Softball..

Softball is 2-2.. don't know much about the team, but from what I've been reading and how last year went, things are looking encouraging..

ps we need seperate threads for the other sports i.e. "Baseball and Softball", "Men's and Women's Lax" etc... Olympic sports are solely swimming and running.. fencing..

Softball is now 10-9 and 2-1 in the Patriot League after two come from behind wins at Bucknell, going to the 7th both times before pulling them out. Frosh pitcher Kasey Karr had a perfect game going through five yesterday and pitched well today also. With three pitchers (sr. Megan Averbuch and fr. Aimee Dassner) that's one more than Jeanine had last year. Masterton and Ruckno are great upperclassmen hitters and Giambrone has already been the rookie of the week. This team and baseball should be two to watch this spring.

As much as our softball program has improved, it looks llike Lehigh remains at another level, crushing our ladies 17-1, 9-0. Ouch!

the softball team is doing pretty well. Above .500 solidly in 3rd. Way to go!
