starting line-up?

With the first game tonight, any thoughts on our starting up?  Three are easy to name, its the last two I am unsure about.

It's hard to say who the other two will be if we don't know who the three are that you think will start.

I'll go with this: Linder, Boykins, Klinewski, Scott, and Zayles.

Think the first four are right - see Musters starting but Zalys getting in quickly.   Rufer, Barlow, Evans get good minutes too - after that, no idea.  Not as long a bench as Fran has had in past few years.

I was thinking, Nick, Matt, and Bryce as my original three.  Then possibly Rufer and Zalys?
Steve

Our game notes list the probable starters as Lindner, Scott, Boykins, Klinewski and Musters.  I don't know how definite that is, or whether all of the starters will necessarily get more playing time than any of the other players.

GW 50-28 at the half. Maybe Nick's relentlessness can rub off on some of the other guys by season's end. He can will this team to some wins but will need help.

tough half...watching the game here

Down 22 at half. Can't score and can't play defense......a bad combination. This will be a "growing" saeason.

Worst stat at half is the boards. GW outrebounding Pards 32-11 at half. YIKES!

Thanks jmo

We're already in mid-season form!

Lehigh was down 32-12 at the half to Syracuse but has outscored the Orange 23-15 in the second. 47-35 with 7 minutes left.
Now it's an 8-point game and Lehigh has a 31-30 rebounding edge.

Soounds like the women's game I watched through 3 quarters.

Kept battling and cut it to 9. FOH will get them together. It's a very young team.

Pards played a solid second half right to final whistle.Nick had 27 and at least 20 must have been in final 20 mins. Thought Evans would play more. Bryce struggled with his shot.

Didn't embarrass ourselves against an physical, veteran team.

Meanwhile, Colgate beat Dave Paulsen's George Mason team. As we've come to expect from Langel, 3 transfers played big roles for Gate including 2 playing their first game.  (from Bradley and JMU)

Gate was picked 2nd to last in the preseason poll, 1 point ahead of last place Navy.

The refs were calling it absurdly tight. I guess that's to be expected for the first game of the season, but it made it really tough to watch. Lafayette had 10 fouls half way through the first half. I think GW had 7 fouls at the same time.

The issue with this team the past several years has always been rebounding and it continues to be the case. We just don't have the size down there.
