Thank God for Colgate

We shot a brutal 24% from the floor in the second half, 18% from beyond the arc, in today's game against Holy Cross.  I won't go into individual statistics so as to not upset Jeffrey Sinclair. But the bottom line is, our offense is out of sinc. We've only scored in the 40s three of our last four games.

With AU beating LU tonight, we have sunk into the second division. We need to get it together these next two games at Colgate and Navy. Both are winable even though they are on the road.

I hope The Maroon hasn't given up on this team.

Nah...I've been crazy busy lately (a good kind of busy at least) and my daughter had a game today at the same time. I certainly hated missing the game where we were challenged to "pack the house"--doesn't look like we did from the clips I've watched or the box score.

This is actually the first game in a long time where we lost one I thought we'd win. We can't lose any more at home (no easy task) and get at least one road win. I'll take an 8-6 regular season. At the same time anything below .500 in the league I think would be a disappointment. I can't stand when ANY of our teams play in Hamilton---let alone the controlled scrimmage atmosphere Cotterell Court provides, but I still can't imagine  us losing that one.
