Who Takes the Autobid

Sorry everyone, I am going to hijack the board for a minute with some football talk.

Our beloved Pards have THE game left, and even a win there won't be enough to hide the ilks that we have all seen. But the rest of the league has a big week coming up.

I guess the first question is: Does anyone care? I personally like to see the league as successful as possible and would love to see 2 PL teams squeak in and win a game or two.

And if you do care/will be watching other league games this week then who takes it? A Colgate win at home this week ties it up for the Gate because even a loss against Bucknell ties them with Fordham and they have the head to head. A Lehigh wins out (which our Pards have something to say about) creates a 3 way tie that will probably go to Fordham in the AD vote.

If Gate takes it, does Fordham get in at 9-2 with an FBS win?

No question Fordham gets in... A win at Army is like a win over a top CAA team.

Really pulling for gate this week

Haha I will assume by the view to response ratio that the answer is: No, no one cares.

According to Sagrin you're right, Army is a few spots below Richmond. But there are still bubble teams ranked higher than Fordham. Towson is one of them. A 7-4 Towson team with wins over a few CAA opponents and losses to 3 playoff teams might look better to the committee.

I am not an FCS braketology expert by any means, but this seems to be a weird years, and Fordham should get in.

I am rooting for Colgate.  I always root for Colgate or Bucknell if we are out of the running.  Colgate was my 2nd choice, and I always had a ton of respect for Biddle and his staff.  Bucknell because thet haven't won a championship in 20 years.  I hope the get one, just not at our expense.
Pards Rule

Well Im a Bucknell fan second (due to both parents being 1961 graduates) and brother who graduated in 1986 as well as many a family vacation to Bucknell West and playing their fine golf course, BGC (in fact just this past July three times). I do have a third spot for Colgate as I had business up there and recall fondly our family trip to Hamilton NY in snowy early Nov 1979 as we looked at colleges. I think that discounted the Raider nation for me as I  remember thinking "if this is early Nov. what s this place like in Feb?"  The people in Hamilton NY are so accommodating and friendly as I found so they secure a close third for me. Mind you I'm 1-0 with the Pard at Andy Kerr after last years visit - also in leftover 3 inches of snow from night before so I'm hoping to get there in 2016! Go Gate!

Colgate takes the auto bid.

On another note, Lehigh's offense is explosive.  We are in deep doo.

Yes indeed!! Congrats Gate in a very exciting game - down to last thirty seconds on a 4th down play!

The Colgate - Lehigh game demonstrated how far behind the rest of the we are .Lehigh will score at least 42 points next week-maybe as many as 60.And we have to face Brangalone for four games. Also the streaming of the game was flawless which demonstrated another way in which we are deficient.LSN streaming is characterized by skipping.blackouts, freezing, blurriness andevery other malady which can interfere with a streamed signal. It reminds me of  Woody Allen 's allegory of life. Two women are eating at a cheap hotel in the Catskills. One says to the other "the food here is really terrible." The other one resonds "Yes and the portions are too small. ."Our footbal team is really horrible and we can't even watch the games because of the streaming issues.Amazingly the other teams don't have any problems recruiting good players or streaming their games.

@SixtyEighter - Nobody is begging you to watch, or show up. You really think we don't have good players? Our 2015 season issues are beyond good players...
