Some terrific feedback as posted on a Star Ledger message board in response to "how's your daughter enjoying lafayette?":

She likes her classes, her dorm mates, and has started to get involved with extra-curriculars. She has had really good experiences dealing with the college in several things. From the health center to the dining halls, the staff has just been so wonderful to her.Her advisor surprised her (and me) the other day when she had to go visit him to get something signed. She had met him once a couple of weeks earlier for a 20 minute sit down but hadn't seen him since. She walked into his building without an appt and started toward his office. He is in the hall and sees her coming. He calls out "hey there is (first and last name)." She almost fell over. Then he sat her down to talk and it was clear he remembered her whole schedule. I went to the same advisor for four years at a large university and I don't think he ever knew my name or did more than sign my course card. She was sick one day and missed her seminar (FYS) class. She turned on her computer minutes after the class ended to contact the professor and explain. The professor had already emailed her to see if everything was okay! Go Lafayette! //////
Impressive performance by these faculty members. Well done!
